I'm using xinerama on an nvidia gf 8600gt. Might be too much noise, but I think it's relavant: In the last few days I removed all debian nvidia packages, and installed the nvidia .run driver (see #457006) per the nvidia-kernel-source bug reportting (they said the debian one is not supported in favor of the current

Perhaps there is a bug in your implementation, that glDisable(GL_DEPTH_TEST) doesn't quite work. Try leaving it enabled, and set glDepthFunc(GL_ALWAYS) instead. Will check.. After you rendered the first poly with polygon offset, did you disable polygon offset before rendering the subsequent polys? Yes.

cStencilBits = 8; Depth bits and Stencil bits are usually stored within the same 32 Bit register/storage on nVidia cards. So 24D+8S or 16D+16S would work, but AFAIK 32D+8S won't work for an ordinary framebuffer. If you really need 32D+8S you will probably have to use a FBO, with apropriate targets attached,

I'm sure this is the NVIDIA bug that has been reported here many times before - earlier versions of Turnpike filled the corners of the grey bars with a "hatch" effect The bug has been fixed and has re-appeared on subsequent NVIDIA releases. Does TP6 have this problem ? Not the grey bar problem, no. -- Paul Terry.
